JOHNNY SMOKE released their debut CD, Crime Don't Pay Yet!!, in 2000, shortly after they had won the Made In Rochester competition. Songs from the disc have been featured in the local music segments on WCMF, WBZA, and WBER in Rochester, WAQX in Syracuse, and WGRF in Buffalo. Music from the CD has also been used in commercials for WCMF's sports programming.
The band's second CD, For A Dollar, was released in 2007, and in addition to the regional market, the band was exposed to the world through a host of Internet stations as well.
In the fall of 2008, the band released the single, Doctor Kevorkian, to coincide with Jack Kevorkian's bid for the seat in Michigan's 9th Congressional District.
The band is working on material for their next disc, currently going with the working title, Mean As A Snake. No release date has been announced as of yet.
